Rose, 78 years old, has just lost her adored and respected husband. When grief gives way to a powerful impulse to live, the whole balance of the family is upset. Eager to recreate herself as an independent and desirable woman, Rose learns that it’s ok prioritize her happiness as well.

 Aurélie Saada’s directorial debut features an older woman successfully rebelling against societal stereotypes and proving that joy can be found at any age - and that one can never have too much chutzpah as well!

World renowned choreographer Anželika Cholina’s take on William Shakespeare’s tragic tale of jealousy and duplicity is a percussion filled, striking and vibrant production that delves deeply into the soul of the tragedy and its self-sacrificing yet defiant heroine. In Cholina’s production, based on fellow Lithuanian Anatolijus Šenderovas’ original composition, artists of the ballet troupe of the Kaunas Musical Theater dance multiple roles, thus creating not only the effect of mass, but also giving meaning to the miracle and drama of the transformation of the characters.
